We’ve created a custom perfume inspired by the Vanderpoel property, with a top note of Lily of the Valley, and a base of cedar and juniper. The Vanderpoel site originally featured a small farm which included a kitchen garden. An early description states that "there were flowers, all mixed in with the vegetables". In folklore, Lily of the Valley is said to protect gardens from evil spirits and is also considered to be the flowers of the fairies, who drink from its cups. Visit the Mercantile at the Vanderpoel and our storefront or website to purchase.
