Florent is changing what is acceptable in skincare. Our proprietary probiotic system provides the biome with energy to reestablish balance. The formulas are designed by nature to self preserve, negating the need for preservatives. We improve the skin’s natural ability to first protect and then repair by introducing the correct botanical adaptogens needed to support each function. If we can’t find an ingredient that is to our standard, we partner with an independent farm to make it using traditional methods, such as solar infusions and hydro distillation.

The skin is our largest organ. Often thought of as a barrier, it is more properly an ecosystem that mediates the body’s interaction with its environment. Studies show that our skin relies heavily on microorganisms to maintain a healthy balance. While most skincare products contain preservatives that support the shelf life of the product, these substances also inhibit the natural life on our skin. Our proprietary preservation system is integral to our natural formulation process, and precludes the necessity of introducing synthetic preservatives.

Inspired by nature’s recurrent cycles of cell generation, death, and rebirth, our formulation process creates the the environment probiotics need to produce nourishing metabolites called postbiotics. This process not only protects our products from unwanted bacterial growth, but enables us to utilize water-based formulations so that your skin can absorb the full healing potential of our botanical ingredients.
Building on Nature’s Elements
Our ingredients are developed in-house using biodynamic, organic, and wild-harvested plants. Whole plant extractions and water elements are created using traditional methods, such as solar infusions and hydro distillation. The glycerites in our serum and exfoliant are produced using certified organic flax-based (palm and soy-free) glycerin. Our beeswax is sourced certified organic, fair trade, and cruelty free.
